Im a firm believer that new team-mates should attend all off-season meetings and OTA's to establish a good rapport with new team-mates. Im not surprised Winslow isnt showing up.. the same way I wouldnt be surprised of TO didnt.. but its not a great way to go about coming to a new team IMO. Hopefully if your a Bucs fan this wont effect his on-field play too much.

Guys like Winslow are great for 1-2 years (maybe 3) and after that its time to let them go. Winslow like TO is an extremelly hard worker with a great deal of talent, but you have to take the good with the bad. Earlier I knew his issue was the contract, but he signed a pretty good deal, so now it may just be that he doesn't want to be in camp. Going to a new team you would think guys like Winslow and TO would get it, but generally they don't until after the fact.
Winslow is from the U. He explained this to Cleveland when he finally got on the field. During the pre-season and work out camps, he spends his time in Miami, working out with fellow Miami alumni. I wouldn't sweat it if I'm a Bucs fan, he'll be ready come season start but if your coming to a new team, I agree you have to build trust, understanding, things of the like. How far is Miami from Tampa, I mean seriously? He's there, he's just not at camp.
Similar situation to Winslow. Dave graduated from MM and they still work out over there during the offseason. He'll show up here once minicamp starts though.
I don't give a shit really. We are gonna suck this year anyway. The fact that the local media is hyping up a McCown v Lefwich quarterback battle should tell you where we are.

According to the article, the team knows what's up and we haven't heard anything about fines or any other disciplinary action, so I wouldn't sweat it if I were a Bucs fan. Yet.
I saw on NFL Network today that he got permission from the Bucs and they all think its no big deal.. It's just the media creating drama and blowing up situations like always
