He needs to learn how to get rid of the ball too. He sits in the pocket like for 15 seconds and gets sacked way too much.

But Rodgers IS the reason the Packers aren't 7-7.

And the defense has given up big plays in most of the games.

Why is nobody recognizing the defense as the #1 problem of the Packers season,Rodgers has done his job and done it well, now the other side needs to do theres. The former punter Derek Frost played horrible as well as our ST defense.Alot of people are saying if Favre was in Greenbay things would be different,i dont think so at all. Also look at the fact that the offensive line leads the NFl in penalties.

I'm not saying the defense doesn't have problems. And I don't see why your all high and up on Rodgers. It's okay to have pride and confidence in your quarterback, and I'll give you this - the kids done a lot better than most people hoped or wished that he would.

But it's ignorant to think that Favre would not be doing better there. The one thing that Rodgers lacks is the Favre factor - the ability to keep your team in a game even when you shouldn't be.

Im not high up on Rodgers,i agree that if Favre was here some things may be different, but i dont think that the season would be completely turned around.

Things Favre may have done different is demand that offensive line to play better. When you have the respect that Favre has around the league the O-line would have listened.

Rodgers helps with the fact that he can keep drives going with his legs.

Maybe if Favre was in Greenbay we would have 2 more wins, but I think we would still have a loosing season since the defense cant stay healthy.Favre has played well as has Rodgers,so far Rodgers has outplayed Favre stats wise.In the end i dont think you can say Rodgers is overrated because of other issues.

Stats don't really matter. For instance, NY has the run game that GB lacks.

                Favre is still outplaying Rodgers.

People don't understand the defense is the whole problem for the green bay packers.

They are 26th against the run and ppl are running all over them. Now that they put woodson at S he is playing terrible and so is tramon williams. Now it's not just there run D it's there pass D as well. There D-line is also not getting any pressure on the QB anymore. Aaron Kampman has to do it all by himself. The Defense is just attrocious.

A-Rod is outplaying favre. They have put the game on his shoulders and he has kept them competitive.

Meh. The stats, yet again, are still a moot point - The Jets are playoff-contenders.

Favre isint there though , however i agree , its up to you as qb to lead the team down on what could be a game winning drive . How can him throwing them 3 ints be on the defence ? hell if the colts D (using them cause i support them) put peyton in position to drive down and win the game id be happy with them .

Rodgers is young tho , he has time to get that winning "favre factor" if you may into him

I completely agree. Take last night for instance with the Colts [I live in Indy by the way]. The Colts defense was horrendous! Completely stupid! But Manning completed his first 17 passes en route to 3 TD's and 300+ yards.

No matter how bad a defense is, your quarterback is there to lead you down the field and score. Favre is in the same category as Manning when it comes to that.

I know, it looked like he was playing dumb looking for an easy pick - especially after he blew an easy INT-TD the previous play.
