wow, what a fight.
I definately think more of Clottey than I did before the fight, however he had better stay far away from counter punchers.
Cotto is no doubt a warrior, so was Clottey, both fighters were hurt bad and could have stopped but went on.
End result was what I wanted, however it could have went the other way. like Max Kellerman just said there is no way I can see Cotto gettign 116 points, when I heard that I knew he would get the decision.
I would love to see the two go at it again and hope that both are healthy, I think Clottey dominated early outside of the knockdown, however I question if he could have kept that up with his history of taking rounds off, but the cut really bothered Cotto and I thought it would have been the deciding factor, the hurt knee for Clottey is probably what hurt him in the end.
like I said much new respect for Clottey, because up to this point I had not been impressed with his resume.
