Good fight, I had Pauli Walnuts pretty convincingly as I thought he looked much stronger for the majority of the rounds (8-4).

Terrible judging, loved Pauli's rant/blow up after the fight. He had every right to do that.

score was definitely closer than 118-110... but depending on what you looked for i could see Diaz pullin out the victory... my own score was 114-114....

Paulie's hand speed was awesome especially early.... if he had stuck wit the jab and stayed away, he could have won pretty easily...

sidenote: Diaz stacking the deck like this against Paulie doesnt show alot of faith in his abilities.... he would be a mid-level fighter for the duration.... any top guy he fights he will lose....

yeah I agree with you, I really felt that Paulie needed to take the 12th to win, and he didn't

i think he already thought he had the fight won, and he was chillin.... too bad.... i think they should fight again in a neutral location with neutral judges.... it was an entertaining fight.... i kinda figured it would go to decision but 118-110 is badd.... really badd....

yeah that is what I think too that he thought he had it won, which is why taking the 12th off because you think you are a head is never a good idea especially when you know that the cards are against you.

yeah seriously i about fell off the couch when they read the 118-110 card

thanks for the post rob, my dvr stopped recording it shotly after the cards were announced.

the only defense against PM i can say is get some power knock guys out and you won't have to worry about getting robbed by the judges

Paulie makes some great points, Houston is a tough tough place to come in as a visitor and win.. still tryin to figure out how Juarez-John was a draw.... that shit wasnt even close on my own personal scorecard.... John was killing Juarez.....the rematch will prove that....different class of fighters in my view.....

i thought Juarez had the best fight of his career, I had John winning though

I really like Marquez as a fighter and a person and would like to see him win because I despise Mayweather's personality but it won't happen.

Mayweather will dominate Marquez. He is too fast and too strong for Marquez. I'm just hoping it is a good fight. Both are counter punchers so it will be interesting.

Looking forward to Pac/Cotto more than this one to be honest.

Mayweather by landslide.... too much speed and size for him.... not much to talk about... Marquez is a solid fighter, but the size/speed differential will be too much.... i am gonna check the undercards before i even decide to purchase this fight...

yeah, I agree the only real wildcard is if Mayweather has any ring rust as its the longest layoff he has ever had, could make things closer than the experts expect, but yeah i don't see the smaller guy winning this one.

as far as Pacman vs Cotto, not sure I like that matchup much either, I am still not sold Cotto has shaken off the Margarito fight. as far as purchasing goes, not sure yet, i mean its hard to pass up a Mayweather fight especially vs a named fighter like JMM, but its not like i have a huge amount of excess money to throw away, especially with my DirectTV bill being high from my Sunday Ticket
