A lot of things, actually. There is "gear" (steroids and precursors) out there that are engineered simply to be broken down by the tests applied to them. So, in all actuality, that whole scenario raises a huge question.

Okay. There's no proof though so I guess the entire situation really depends on how one views Lance. As a Lance supporter, I believe there would have been some hard proof that he doped by now. Yet all we are left with is a few shady situations where we don't really know what happened.

But you're ignoring the biggest question of all: he came back after battling cancer to be the most dominant athlete in his sport. Oh yeah, cancer AND brain surgery, as well as multiple other medical procedures. To believe that he did that clean just because he tells you so and because Nike puts out awesomely edited commercials is just stupid.

He took steroids after his surgery to recover. That's it. To blindly accuse a man of taking performance enhancing drugs while he was actively participating in cycling without any proof whatsoever is pretty stupid if you ask me. Is that what all amazing athletes will have to go through now, being accused of taking steroids just because seemingly everyone else has to take them?

Lance is tested so much that something would have come out by now.
