I'd put money of Lesnar
If this fight does happen, when would it take place? How long do these two apes need to train before the actual fight?Comment

He's beaten the best of the best...
Heath Herring, Big Nog (twice with a NC), Coleman (twice), Randleman (after Randleman nearly broke his neck), Arlovski, Tim Sylvia, Matt Lindland, going to beat Josh Barnett, Hunt, Mirko Cro Cop...
The only guy not on his list that should be is Captain America in the HW division.Last edited by LiquidLarry2GhostWF; 07-13-2009, 11:14 AM.Comment

Fedor already did this. It was on pay per view in Russia. He dropped the bear with a nice combo, then won with a rear naked choke at 4:14 of the 1st round. The bear refused to tap and got choked out cold. Stupid bear. Herb Dean didn't stop it quick enough for my tastes.Comment

After watching the fight on Saturday, I cannot say anyone would definitely win over Lesnar. The same people here saying Lesnar doesn't stand a chance against Fedor were the ones who said Lesnar doesn't stand a chance to beat Mir or Coutier or to ever be a great heavyweight.
If Brock is focused and patient like against Mir, he looks absolutely amazing. I'm not saying he'd definitely win, but I think if he fights like that, Fedor might have trouble against him simply because of Brock's immense physical advantage over just about any heavyweight on the planet.Comment

Speed + Power + Technical ability = dominance. Fedor has it all. Brock has power and is a great wrestler. Right now, the UFC really has no competition for Lesnar. Cain Velasquez is a great wrestler, but, his striking and stand-up need more work. Nogs may be the default #1 contender depending on what happens with Couture at UFC 102. All in all, there just isn't much out there for Lesnar now.
A matchup of Fedor vs Lesnar would create huge PPV numbers! However, Fedor would make quick work of Lesnar. Fedor would basically take that horse shoe that Lesnar pulled out of Mir's ass and shove it down Lesnar's throat and pull it out his asshole...and then fuck Sable for good measure.

Fedor > Lesnar
Here's the thing, Brock is way too big and powerful for pretty much every HW out there. His wrestling is great and he can shoot and takedown anyone. So for somebody to beat him, they are going to have to be very good on their back and very calm because it is not easy for anyone to hold guard on a 290 pound albino gorilla (stole that from someone here and love it).
I think Fedor would tap Brock because he is the greatest ever but it wouldn't surprise me if Brock was able to just overwhelm Fedor with hammerfists because he is just so fucking big and strong.Comment

Brock has never had his jaw tested. Brock has never been hurt.
I'm not comfortable handicapping this fight until that happens.
Besides, Fedor needs to get through another pro wrestler first, Josh Barnett. Won't be easy, even for an inhuman cyborg.Comment

Brock has no even shown great takedown ability yet, he hasnt had a competitive wrestling match in years
Mir and Heath have never, I repeat never shown an ounce of takedown defense
The only guy Brock fought that has takedown defense is Randy, Brock got stuffed in the 2nd round by Randy and couldnt hold him down in the first, also Randy would have taken Brock down besides the blantant fence grab
Also, Randy has been taken down and beaten by stronger, bigger grapplers in the past like Barnett and Ricco, plus Brock had like 50 lbs on Randy
Of course Brock has the wrestling background, but to think he has great takedowns at this point is silly, he is big and powerful, but Randy was able to fend them off and actually bully Brock into the cage when he wanted too
Since the first Mir fight, the matchmaking for Brock has been good and played on his strengthsLiquidrob's Top 10 Fighters Rankings

And for some reason I can't remember much of the Couture/Lesnar fight even though I watched it.Comment
