    My God These Undisputed n00bs!

    What the hell?

'So, is this fedor guy like the GSP of heavyweights?'

'Fedor has no chance against Brock, no chance!'

Listen, MMA didnt start when UFC Undisputed hit the stores, I am glad the sport has new fans and is growing, but please do yourself and all of us a favor and get educated about the sport before making posts

      Who's Fedor?
So, metaphorically speaking, our physiology basically has the universe mapped out and you're thinking it needs to be taught addition & subtraction.

When he wins the Ultimate Fighter in the new 'greatest match of all time' against Roy Nelson, the TUF noobs will be unbearable

This coming from the self-proclaimed "MMA Expert". I don't mind a lot of the new guys simply because they know they are new to the scene and don't act like they know everything. I cannot help but laugh at the "MMA Experts" who were bashing anyone saying Lesnar or Hendo were going to win.

The thing is though, you have to live with it. It's cool that you were a long term fan, but you have to live with bandwagoners. They drive money into your sport, they drive advertisers to your sport and they keep your sport afloat.

Well every "Expert" I know didn't pick Bisping over Hendo, most of us did pick Mir over Lesnar though.

                But what does that prove?

I dont really understand your point

No one picks fights perfectly, many of us here have been right or wrong many many times

this thread isnt about picking fights, but making comments like 'is fedor the gsp of HWs?' and shit like 'fedor has zero chance against lesner!' while probably never seeing fedor fight is just plan silly

anyone can pick fights and be right or wrong, that has nothing to do with it, but now after this game and UFC 100 there are all these guys talking MMA, where were they before?

nothing worng with getting educated on a sport, I suggest everyone should who is not

I am fine with it, I have trained with a bunch of these guys when they were making $500 to fight, now some of them can make a living off the sport which is great, I dont mind new fans because they bring money to it, but bandwagon or not you need to learn about a sport if you really want to follow it

expert or not, I took a shot picking bisping because I thought he could out point hendo in a 3 round fight, like I said, I regret that pick right after I made it

MMA fights are so hard to predict, it only takes 1 shot or mistake and a serra beats a GSP, its the nature of the game

I'm talking about being educated here, not picking fights, my 10 year old newphew could pick fights and get a bunch of them right, just like the lady at the office who wins the NCAA tourney bracket

Yeah man, you should have picked Hendo. That was the smart money.

There's nothing wrong with being new a sport. But there is something wrong with trying to act like you know a ton, when you don't bother to really try to learn. Offering uniformed opinions really just makes you look like an idiot. It doesn't matter what sport or topic.

If a new NFL fan was to pop into the NFL section and start declaring that Adrian Peterson is the greatest running back to have ever lived and its no content, then has no idea who Emmitt Smith, Walter Payton, Gale Sayers, or Jim Brown are... well, its pretty tough to take them seriously. If you don't know a lot, don't act like you do. Its simple. That's no different in real life than it is from a forum.
