Man, I thought this would happen, but not for another year. I don't know if I agree with it, simply because whoever loses won't be nearly as big of a draw as SF needs. I want to see it, but Rogers needs a bit more experience against top contenders before I'd throw him at Fedor.

I thought Fedor should fight Werdum and smash him, but maybe they are thinking, if Fedor comes in and gets upset unlikely as it seems, you would rather it be to Rogers than Werdum

Atleast Rogers in undefeated and makes him a monster, easy to sell, but I agree this hurts Rogers if he gets Zulu'd, hopefully he has a good showing

My idea now would to put Overeem against Werdum on the same card so the casual fan can see the next match up and compare, plus Overeem doesnt really bring in the ratings and it wouldnt be a 'wasted' main event fight and its almost like a 4 man tourney feel

Rogers has a punchers chance, but thats it. Fedors only ever been rocked once that I can think of in 30 fights. He's too technical and just as powerful as Rogers on the feet and would absolutely overwhelm him on the ground
