I can't exactly blame them. This should be interesting to watch as the season goes on.

But.... but... he's a great leader! He has more fun than anybody and if you can't see that when he runs around like an idiot on the field, you're blind! He's still a top 10 qb! He's jesus christ!

Some Vikings players understand that Favre has overstayed his welcome in the NFL. He is just ruininging his own rep. The Vikings would do just the same if Sage Rosenfels or Tavaris Jackson was the starter.

            Coming soon...

I saw this earlier. Ya, definitely, I hope it does rip the team apart. Just because, as Cowherd says, sometimes a loss is a win and a win is a loss. It tears the team apart and they get rid of Favre and Tarvaris gets his shit together....

              In my dreams.

after Favre left, there was a ton of backlash from the Jets, including Rhodes and most notably Thomas Jones

Who didn't see this coming from a mile away?

Brett Favre sucks ass now. Who the fuck in their right mind thought he was going to take them to a Super Bowl? He's not better than Tavares Jackson or Sage Rosenfels, just a really stupid move by Minnesota.

Three unnamed sources, listed only as "knowledgeable"

                        Yep, sounds credible to me!

You do realize sources stay unnamed to avoid any type of backlash from the teams?

Backlash is coming one way or another. I understand protecting your sources but I also have wised up to espn reporting anything without a credible source. These things are usually BS.

For instance, Herbstreit reports that Les Miles will coach at Michigan, and cites an unnamed source "with knowledge of the situation". Turns out to be total BS. Or the Ed Werder reports last year on the Cowboys, that may or may not have been BS.

I just don't trust espn on anything like this anymore.

edit-and even if these sources really said this, it's just 3 people speculating about how 52 people feel. Too much speculation and projecting going on for me to believe this.
