Favorite NHL Moment: Oilers run to the Cup final in 2006. Even though I was overseas from the series against Detroit on, I stayed up until 6 AM in Valenia frantically updating NHL.com, only for them to lose to the fucking Hurricanes. What a run though. After the battles of the late 90s/early 00s versus Dallas and Colorado, I kinda figured the window and closed.

Made even better by the fact it came on the heels of a Flames cup run, so we could tell them to shut up again. Five cups stupid Flames fans, eat it
