Holy crap, that may be the biggest upset of the year. A BJJ black belt taps out to an unknown.

Well damn that main event was awesome.

Ben Henderson must have gotten out of a thousand submission holds. The opposite Dean Malenko.

Sucks that Cerrone lost but Henderson just outdid him. Hopefully Henderson beats Varner and later in 2010 we can see a rematch between Henderson & Cowboy.

Breen @ Sherdog was up in arms about the decision. Everything else seemed to agree that Henderson won. BloodyElbow scored it the same as the real judges, as did a couple of others

tough fight to score, but I gave it to Cerrone, even in the 2nd round where is seems everyone gave it to Ben, Cerrone was really working from the bottom and blocking a lot of the shots, Cerrone or a draw IMO

Sad Crunkilton lost, he was rusty and he didnt show up in good shape, he still had a lot of sub attempts and was winning the stand up, MMA judging gives way to much importance to TDs, but he was gassed by the end of round 1

shocked at Fabiano getting subbed, crazy

Can't leave it to the judges, shit happens. Like Mir, I thought Cerrone won the first round and was going to win...I was a bit shocked they gave it to Henderson. However, I don't think it was a crime.

The fool of a judge who scored the Jabouin/Assuncao fight 30-27 for Jabouin....even though it didn't effect the outcome, it was a horrible score.

yeah, it wasnt a crime, close fight

I just dont lilke the current state of MMA judging in the US, Japan has issues also, but just overall the judging in America sucks

It can be improved, but what's the perfect system? I cant think of a way that won't have its big issues.

Do we forget the 10-pt system and just rule it based on who you feel wins the round? I wish judges would use 10-10 scores more often in a legit close round.

I'd like to just go out there and get going right from the start, but I didn't. I just got my ass kicked for the first two rounds and then decided I'd get fired up ... The guillotine, I felt him gargling one time, but that son of a bitch just kept holding on."
