Parise is just an odd story because he apparently wants out of New Jersey, but do the Devils jus trade away him? If they wanted, they could hold his rights till the summer, see who offers the most, and take a shit load of first round picks for him, or start looking now.
LA would be a good fit for him, and you have to know Burke would be in there as well, since he and Parise did the Team USA thing. Throw him on a line with Kessel and win.
Either way, the Devils are in for a shit storm of hurt if Kovy doesn't start playing up to his money. I said it all along, this guy was not worth the money they were paying him. I even said he should be a 6-7M per year player. And no, not 'cap hit 6-7M' player, as in, he only makes 7M at the most of any given year. He was Atlanta's only scorer, and did fuck all with the Devils.
