My family gets both Center Ice and Extra Innings (might be the wrong name but the MLB package) and they are far overdue for all HD games. It's ridiculous that we have to watch them in standard definition. Especially hockey, which is 5x better in HD.

3 general team fights in total 2 in the 3rd period LOL was awesome. Blood everywhere.

I know how the seeding works, I just don't watch a ton of hockey outside the Flyers and I remember the Lightning weren't that good last year. They've beaten the Flyers all 3 times they've played so far this year...I dunno I guess I just don't watch them enough.

Last year was a myriad of off ice issues, owner problems, change at GM, coach and the team was turned over a bit.

Stamkos alone is a team changer, but finally have some decent play in net shows you how good they are.

Chi trades Jack Skille, Hugh Jessimen, David Pacan to FLA for Michael Frolik + Alexander Salak.

Chicago fleeced Florida on this one. Frolik is a pretty solid 2nd line player and is quite young still, Salak is a top goalie in Sweden. Skille has been poop, Jessimen is a career AHLer and Pacan is a late pick that's almost getting PPG in Junior.

Not sure what Florida is doing there.

I was proud of my Canadiens Wednesday night, despite the loss.

Carey Price had Tim Thomas down in a fight, and never threw one punch. Showed class. Clearly two non-fighters.

Benoit Pouliot had David Krejci down, vulnerable. Didn't throw a punch.

I was pissed when I saw Johnny Boychuk wailing away on Jaroslav Spacek after he was down. Clearly Spacek is an old guy who never fights, Boychuk was a fucking punk. Spacek was done and Boychuk kept punching away.
I really hope Montreal deals with that jerk in our next game.

I understand the game is emotional, but follow the fucking code. Once you've won the fight, it's over. Especially when you're fighting a non-fighter.

Boston won fair and square, I have no problem with that ... but beating up on old Spacek was uncalled for. I hope Montreal can find Oggy Ogolthorpe for the next game to deal with Boychuk. That was bullshit.

Dave you are stupid. Spacek was a dumbass. If he was done he should fall to the ice. When he went down Boychuck stopped punching and stared him down. Nothing wrong with it.I was at the game and all game Mcquiad, Thorton and Looch tried to fight Subban, Puoilot and come other clown and they kept running away. Then somehow Puilot ends up fighting Kreicji which is LOL and the Bruins took offense to it. Guy backs down from all the legit people but then when there is a scrum gets DK to drop them lol. Giant pussy he is. Congrats to the douche who wanted to fight Ference at the end of the game because he got his two teamates a can of whoop ass, bc Campbell and Boychuck unloaded.

Game was awesome to be at, and its so funny to watch Subban skate around avoiding fights. But Dave don't be clueless Boychuck stopped punching with Spacek went down, and as long as hes standing Boychuck is going to keep punching because anyone would do the same.

Moen took a few shots after he was down but that was about it.

I didn't get a chance to watch the game (hoping to catch it today on NHL replay) but it looked like it was subban that pretty much started it and then once guys got involved with price it was game over.
