      Worked to much this week and didn't have time to post it. Not a big deal since there is still tons of hockey to go.
      All you need to know when thinking of the NHL vs Madden series is the two people involved in making the games.

      "rammer" and "cummings"

      The NHL series is a giver, Madden takes the load.

                              Forget everything I or anyone else said about not even thinking about the playoffs for the Avs. Avs win the Cup. I'm already starting to grow my playoff beard.

                              In all seriousness, pleasantly surprised by their play thus far. They aren't nearly as bad as expected.

                                                      Can't really complain about the Flyers 3-1-1 start, should be 4-1 but they gave up a bad goal when the Ducks tied up the game. Emery's been playing fairly well, only maybe 3 or 4 of the goals scored against can really be blamed on him, the rest were defensive breakdowns.

                                                      My only complaint is right now they're in the middle of a 1 game in 12 day stretch, last game was Sat next is Friday, then not until the Thursday after that, it's completely retarded especially with the Olympic break this year

                                                      EDIT- oh yea, and Mike Richards leading the league in goals

                                                          I'm so mad right now, the Wings game is on Versus, and even though i spent the money to do the NHL Center Ice thing, it's not on.

                                                          God am i pissed at Versus (The game is on Versus).
