Top 5 NFL Teams So Far

Giants are best team in the NFL imo. Eli's been great, that run game is dominant...they keep Eli clean...WR's have stepped up (they have 3 now btw)...defensively, they've been very good...Thomas has stepped it up alongside Webster...

2- Vikings- Favre has helped that pass game, Peterson has been solid, defense looking good.
3- Saints- now have run game and improved defense
4- Colts- Manning best QB in teh game, need better output from run game also fins game still keeps them from top 3.
5- Broncos- orton doing enough to win, defense has been GREAT.

eagles aint top 5 yet but they are top 10 def. , idk why some of you guys are putting giants at #1, i KNOW they are a good team but they havnt played any1 good either the 1st 5 weeks ,

They dominated the Skins (they let up a touchdown at the end to let the game finish, don't let the 24-17 score fool you), showed up huge against the Cowboys (who the Broncos, that are also 5-0, needed to show up huge against), embarrassed the Bucs, dominated the Chiefs, trashed the Raiders. Who they've played is irrelevant, they have no control of that. All they can do is beat the teams they're offered and great teams cream the teams they're supposed to beat which is what they've done. It's not like they barely beat the Bucs, Chiefs, and Raiders... they destroyed them.

1. Colts - Manning is a machine right now, playing perhaps the best football of his career.
2. Giants - As it stands now, they're my favorites in the NFC because of that tenacious defense
3. Vikings - All depends on Favre's health.. but he's shockingly becoming less of the gunslinger and more of the game manager that occasionally makes the huge throw when needed. Big game coming up Sunday though.
4. Saints - We all knew the Saints offense would be there, we didn't know their defense would be there with them.
5. Eagles - Not to disrespect the 5-0 Broncos, but I still think the Eagles are a damn good team despite their one loss to a good New Orleans team.

Again, what is your obsession with Pittsburgh? If the Steelers were put in someone's top 5, sure, they would be overrated. Seeing as how no one has put them in their top 5, and this thread is asking who the top 5 teams in the NFL are, again you sound silly drawing comparisons where there are none. By all indications, as no one has placed them in the top 5, that no, they are not overrated in the context of this thread.
