EA Sports MMA Game

turns out everyones favorite speedo clad giant killer , Minowaman, will NOT be in this game, which is hella lame. the developers of the game listed some the reasons why he would not be included:

1. Clipping issues regarding his awesomeness.

2. Every time the developers try to program his stats to a reasonable level the developers come in the next day to find his stats are all mysteriously maxed out.

3. Balancing issues regarding his leg locks. (apparently no one in the dev team has ever been able to escape one, against a computer or in a player vs player match... ever)

4. Once the ESRB saw early concept art and the in game models of Minowaman they threatened to give the game a AO rating if they "couldn't tone down the sexuality of his avatar".

5. The non hardcore MMA fan developers are feeling like the over all realism of the game is hurt by the inclusion of Minowa. Similar to the issue they were having with leg locks, when ever some one attempted to beat Minowa using a HW character they were unable to win regardless of whether they were playing against a computer or user controlled version.

6. The inclusion of Minowa is creating issues regarding making the game multi-platform. They're having no issue with the PS3 version but the Xbox 360 version might have to be nixed if they wish to include him. Apparently the double storage capacity of the Blueray disc is required to fit in all of Minowa's greatness into the game. EA is considering making the 360 version multiple discs, you will just have to load the second disc on the character selection screen any time you wish to select Minowa.

 

found this on sherdog and it thought it was pretty funny, but yes it is true, no Minowaman.
