Unfortunately, I have never been on steroids, so I don't know how bad they are, but I do know that nobody enjoys getting a needle injected into them.
Marquez got old fast, Marquez had trouble with Diaz for pete's sake, anybody that thought he had a chance against Mayweather is a fool.
Like I said, it's obvious that pac is not going to budge on this. even if he is 100% clean, which i don't think he is, he wouldn't agree to this ever because of where he is from and who he is. he's simply not going to let mayweather disrespect him and have any kind of power over him whatsoever. he is more than a boxer in his country, he is one of its most powerful men, he's not going to let mayweather control him in any manner.
i'm not saying i agree with it and i'm not saying he is 100% clean but the bottom line is that mayweather needs to be the bigger man and fight because these are the circumstances.
if mayweather loses then everyone will remember pac refused to take this drug test and there will always be questions surrounding the best p4p ever and this fight will go down in history because the suspisions surrounding pacqauio may never die.
that's all there is to it at this point or the fight will never happen.Comment

From a Dave Meltzer update at F4WOnline
-ESPN boxing analyst Teddy Atlas said that a source he trusts saw e-mails from the Manny Pacquiao camp to the Floyd Mayweather camp
as part of negotiations, asking what the penalties would be if Pacquiao tested positive, and that would the Mayweather camp be agreeable that if Pacquiao did test positive, to suppress the results from the public "for the good of boxing." This is a story that was actually written three weeks ago in the New York Daily News that the Pacquiao camp denied and actually listed as part if its lawsuit against Mayweather, Oscar De La Hoya, Richard Schaeffer and others.

LOL, what a joke that rumor is.
if there was any truth to that it'd be all over the sports world. and there is no way in hell pacquiao's camp would ever send something like that to mayweather's dude, do you actually think they would trust them with something like that?
if there is truth to it, it still doesn't mean it came from pacquiao. you know he rolls like 30 deep, somebody could have sent that email just as a precautionary thing, so even if true won't mean much.Last edited by Tailback U; 01-09-2010, 08:44 PM.Comment

pacquiao will not budge. as i said, he is bigger than boxing in his country - if pacquiao allows mayweather to control him then he will lose his country's respect.
that's the bottom line or the fight doesn't get done. so mayweather can choose to fight him without olympic testing or not to, if he chooses not to then he's a pussy in my book.
i don't care of pacquiao is on drugs, mayweather is obviously too scared of him. you know who isn't scared of pacquiao even if he is on some shit? joshua clottey - LOL.Last edited by Tailback U; 01-09-2010, 08:40 PM.Comment

it falls on mayweather because this is how it's going to be or it's not going to get done.

Mayweather wants both fighters to be drug tested. He's willing to do it and Pacquiao is not.
Only reason he chooses not to is because he must be hiding something. Otherwise, he'd want to beat the fuck out of Mayweather. I guess he's too scared of testing positive or what he'll fight like off whatever he's been on.

The guy that won't take a needle for 40 million because he's admittedly scared isn't a puss, but Mayweather is. Makes sense, I don't detect any bias there at all.Comment

Pacquiao's camp publicly said they would agree to three blood tests, one on the day before the initial press conference. One 30-days before the fight. The final test would take place in the locker room after the fight.
So don't tell me the man is too scared of a damn needle.
The impasse came because Mayweather has said he wanted a 14-day cutoff before the second blood test while Pacquiao wanted a 30-day window after the second test.

Know what's going on plz. His initial statement was that he did not like needles and didn't want a blood test, then it changed to him accepting scheduled tests, which as its already been discussed defeats the entire purpose of the test since it's so easy to beat a scheduled one.Comment
