That whole show was so typically TNA. They tease a bit with what they can do well - the Angle-Styles match - but the rest is a cluttered fucking mess. They spent a month building Desmond Wolfe into a legit main event player and they ruin that by giving him less time on TV than the Nasty Boys and jobbing him to Pope Elijah Burke... They also just popped off their main event for their next PPV, which either means a repeat (not the worst thing) or a rather random throw-together main event.
I love how some fans are actually calling his show a great success. I don't see how. Beyond trotting out a bunch of semi-recognizable faces - many of them so far past their prime that they are of no interest to the WWE - I don't see what different about it. It was TNA's chance to do something new and really make an impact, and I honestly feel they failed. Raw was solid for once and the WWE didn't even have to go all out. They brought in no talent from other brands, and even gave their top babyface the night off. Shows how little the WWE is worried by Hogan-TNA.
...the WWEs answer to TNA to this was to have a 52 year old stroke victim come out to resurrect a 12 year old storyline and get kicked in the crotch by a 64 year old man...yeah, they give a fuck about TNA.
