I thought cap issues were holding up Vokoun to Philly? Last I read Philly was basically out of the Vokoun sweepstakes.

I just got home and when reading around I seen a few people post about how the flyers are "close" on a few deals. That was around 1PM.

They got a lot of moving around to do to fit him in.

Im still hold onto hope that Chicago can somehow snag him, Ive read some promising things, but nothing is confirmed.

For some reason there was a bunch of Huet to Toronto talks.

They all got denied fairly quickly though.

Yep..Huet for Finger...but Toronto came out and said that they have no interest in Huet.

Philadelphia Flyers G Ray Emery is out for the remainder of the season with a hip injury.

BTW they are comparing the injury to the same one that ended Bo Jacksons career. Emery has been looking for specialists of his injury but its not looking good.

Flyers will need goaltending help now.

Edit - Philadelphia Flyers G Ray Emery has avascular necrosis and will have a bone graf on his right hip to alleviate the issue.

If that trade does happen...could we see Huet being traded to New York (or possibly Crawford?) and then the Hawks make a play at Vokoun?

Yea apparently the Hamhuis deal fell through b/c Nashville wanted a forward and didn't feel Parent for Hamhuis was a fair deal. Didn't hear anything about Vokoun, but on the flyersphans board they said something about Roloson.....we'll see

Bob McKenzie is reporting that Roloson is in net for the Islanders tonight and nothing is done as of now.
