This time we're setting ourselves up for it. We know it's gonna happen again, maybe at least this time we'll be privileged to know what's going on a few hours in advance..maybe.. But, the name of the site isn't the issue. Supporting a site that's selling/merging with a forum only to recreate what they just sold and taking all the members back sounds like some shady shit to me. Can't blame TGL for being pissed.

I have no idea whats going on, and its to the point I dont even care anymore, I just enjoy posting with the guys I have for years now

The only reason we sold/merged was because of the constant problems we were running into + the site we were moving to PROMISED that myself and houtz could run the forum as our own. Where VSN would be literally recreated and the community wouldn't notice the change outside of the URL change.

Our plan was going to make it exactly into what VSN was and then we were never given access to. Basically what we would have gotten out of the deal, was a problem-free forum for our posters, which was pretty important at the time.

They took advantage of us, knowing we were having problems (almost daily...kinda of ironic now that our name is VSNDaily lol), and told us we could run the forum as we saw fit. That never happened and is the reason for why we came back.

TGL isn't pissed about this AT ALL. They banned over half of our active members for stupid reasons, please go read the Tales of the TGL Staff forum in the Locker Room and you will see 100% why we decided to leave.

They didn't see VSN as a community, they saw VSN as literal "numbers". They only wanted us for our high post count and # of members. Now that they have tripled their numbers, they look like a bigger site, they don't give a shit about people actually posting or wanting to retain a community. I spoke with Gambino and he said the merge was successful because there was "power in numbers."
