What does this tell us?
-Mike Tyson is the undisputed PPV draw champ. He was drawing one million + in the infancy of PPV, with far fewer number of available homes. He also drew vs. an assortment of bums who couldnt do 100 buys on their own, like Bruce Seldon & Peter McNeely.
-Mayweather is a close second, holding the boxing record, overall record, and even cracks the wrestling list.
-Brock is the #1 MMA draw of all time
-I always say it, but Rashad Evans is an undrated draw. He's a good talker and knows how to promote a fight and work his gimmick.
-Looking at the wrestling list, you may think Lashley & Batista should be locks as MMA draws, but the fact is, the Lashley number had more to do with the Trump/McMahon hair vs hair gimmick than it had to do with Lashley (could have been anyone in his spot and it would have drawn the same), and Batista was part of an era where the WWE as a whole was a bigger draw than any induvidual on his own.
