Daniel Cormier, Ben Askren, Joe Warren, maybe Cole Konrad.

        lmao, Olympian mark?

I like Askren's chances of becoming a really great MMA fighter and perhaps Konrado too.

I still think Warren's lack of respecting submission games will bite him. Unless he truly learns sub defenses, it will always be his weakness.

Warren is still a novice, he hasnt even begun to tap his potential, he has jumped right into the fire vs. top comp, similar to what Lesnar did. He's ony going to get better, he's already just hulking out of subs from really good guys, when he learns legit sub defense he will be a beast.

Wrestling base is the way to go these days, that's why all the top prospects are wrestlers IMO.

I wasn't wildly impressed by King Mo after the Mousasi fight actually. His standup seemed a little sluggish.

Am I the only one who thought that?

I wasnt impressed, either. He looked sloppy & gassed to me too, yet he was still able to physically control Mousasi. I don't know if Mo is just that strong, or if Mousasi is just that overated.

                  Good list

I would throw in Tyron Woodley because out of all the wrestlers that made the transition I think he picked up the sub game the quickest which wrestlers usually don't do, also Phil Davis will be dominating in a year or 2

King Mo is as legit as they come, his only issue will be the MMA media not letting him get ranked higher than 4 or 5 because of the Zuffa bais, but anyway he has a great skill set, easily the best wrestler in the LHW division

What I liked about the Mousasi fight is it seemed like he gassed early, but still had explosive takedowns in the 4th and 5th, you just don't see that from guys who are really gassed, that shows heart and drive, his stand up is getting better, trains with a great camp and is a true student of the game, he likes to break fights down, plus he is only about 2 years removed from the wrestling mats

If he could have actually passed Mousasi's guard and not have lost a round while Mousasi was on his back, maybe he would be ranked higher than 5.

I am talking about in future fights, doesnt matter how he looks he just won't go much higher in the rankings

Maybe he has a shot if Hendo destorys Babalu and King Mo can beat Hendo and win another Mousasi fight, but besides that he will always stay on the outside or around that 5 spot unless a bunch of guys lose, but it will be tough to crack

Also, he is 1 of those guys that can go up a weight and win a big fight, that might pump up his ranking

If he has a chin Jon Bones Jones.

That kind of reach and speed is rare. Hes still developing into his frame.
He looks as fast as Rashad but with a hell of alot more reach. If you can mount Hammill youve got to have a decent ground game. Next fight should be interesting. I wonder if being in the same camp as Rashad will help or hinder his progress. Rashad would suppress him in a hurry if he has the title.

Hes nowhere near as polished or accurate but when he strikes he does remind me of And1.
Best reason to have a license.

I was watching MMA live and they had Jones on, one of the questions was about a title shot for Jones, and Rashad basically said no because he was going to be the champ, the Jackson guys will never fight each other like most camps, I wonder if Rashad even doesnt win the title he will pull for Jones not getting a shot

Maybe it will lead to 1 of them, probably Jones leaving Jacksons if he feels he is getting held back, Rashad than can play the Tito/Chuck card

Anyway, I don't see Rashad holding the belt again anyway, to many good guys who can hit and Rashad is getting dropped a lot lately

Oh, they also hinted at HW for Jones in the future

                              Saw it..felt the same.
I really got a sense of jealousy or animosity towards Jones from Rashad.
Jones has to show ALOT more power and a chin to bang with the crop of 250+ers.
He'd have to do an Overeem like muscle gain for him to be a legit HW imo.
I cant see Rashad beating Machida/Shogun so Bones' line could be clear if he keeps winning.
