The Aoki loss hurts Alvarez. Even with wins over Hansen, Crusher and Kikuno, nobody else is launching Eddie into top 10 PFP talk.
I will say Edgar at #4 PFP is a fucking joke.
FWIW, my pfp list:
1. Anderson
2. GSP
3. Aldo
4. Shogun
5. Fedor
6. Penn
7. Edgar
8. Machida
9. Diaz
10. Shields

It's not just wins, skill set has to come into play, this is not divisional rankingsLiquidrob's Top 10 Fighters Rankings

however if it was just perceived skills, lombard could lay claim to a top 10 spot, same with florian, mo, maynard, etc.
besides, this is all abstract anyway

Mousasi won 1 maybe 2 rounds, didn't lose all 5

Dont remember exactly which rounds (I assume Mousasi took the first), but I do remember in the championship rounds, Mo maintaining top position for most of it.
Okay about getting caught, it works both ways.
Since May 2008 (Ill count the Hansen win):
Alvarez is 7-1, the one loss to Aoki, wins over Hansen, Crusher, Imada, Kikuno, Neer, Reynolds and Loughran
Machida is 4-1, the one loss to Shogun, wins over Shogun, Rashad, Thiago Silva and Tito
are we going to argue whose wins are "better?"
Plus, there is no discernible way to argue whose skills are "better"
fuck it, my top 10 is right. you're wrong!
