So i went online to buy my tickets for Strikeforce Houston...

..and it looks like I'll be the only one there. I can buy any ticket I want, from the 4th row on. I was able to buy an entire cageside row. The show is Saturday. This Saturday.

Hopefully Houston is like Mexico City and its a walk up town, or they won't be coming back.

I'm honestly not baiting him, I'm just disappointed. Id love for them to come back twice per year. Running Toyota Center may have been overly optimistic. UFC isn't selling out 20k buildings these days either.

I'm not certain, but I have read since SF is owned by the San Jose Sharks that they get a great rate on these arenas, that's why they are these big arenas all the time

I didn't actually buy an entire row, but if you wanted to, you could, because full rows are still available.

                    At least as of yesterday.

I'm not buying tickets until I get to the building, because there is a good chance they will be handing out comps.

I had to quick edit because I thought it was.

Perhaps noone gives a fuck about Strikeforce period outsides of San Jose.

Went online this morning, you can still buy entire rows on the floor, and the show is in 7 hours.

On my way to Houston, gonna try to find some comps, if not I should still be able get to get tremendous seat.

That means the bulk of tickets for the show will be sold on the day of the event to people who literally go to the box office of the building.

Some cities have reputations of being "walk up towns"....slow advances, but they draw good attendance because people tend to buy the same day as the event at the venue. For example, Mexico City does virtually no advance business, for whatever reason, so you cant really get a feel for how well an event will draw ahead of time. New York, on the other hand, isnt a walk up town at all...virtually everyone gets tickets ahead of time.
