Main card fights were good enough to keep me interested, and at points I was reacting (I'm typically a quiet observer type at sports).

Production is good for what they are trying to do, but Strikeforce really needs work on ringwalks (I talked about this is another thread in detail).

The crowd was ok, not a dead crowd by any means, some knuckleheads boing all the groundwork, but that's unavoidable. Strikeforce should run smaller, more intimate buildings. They can sell out 8000 seat venues, and the crowd reactions would come off better. When tickets are too easy to get, it makes the product seem cold. A lot of the loud pops got lost in the giant empty building.

I had a lot of fun observing the cageside stuff, like the celebs & fighters interacting with the crowd, the tv production and how all of that was done, watching the cornermen, the stuff you don't see on tv.

Booker T, Big John, Mayhem Miller, and the Cyborgs stood out as being great to fans, but really everyone was. I didn't see anyone turned away for pics or handshakes. Very fan friendly environment.

hey warner, did you wait to buy your tickets and how much did they cost for your section?

Strikeforce 'generally' doesnt comp a lot of tickets, they reported 8,600 in attendence, I wonder how many they sold

1 good thing they do is stack the prelims with local guys and sell a bunch of tickets like that, Draculino has a big follwing and had a bunch of his fighters on the under card, I believe he is Gracie Barra

I paid $100, I was in Houston all day and saw no comps. Floor seats were $300.
