They're going to be better then they were last year because they have better goaltending and upped their defense again but I think they are going to have the same problem as calgary and boston last year and that was lack of scoring.

I don't know about playoffs though. They are built for playing in the playoffs at this point but they have to actually make it there first.

I hope Kadri either plays really really well to stay up with the team or have him play the rest of the year with the farm system and let him bulk up more and get used to professional hockey.

Versteeg and Kadri will help that scoring problem. Bozak will be better with a full year. I think Kessel has the potential to score 40 goals, Kulemin around 20. I think the Leafs are a playoff team.

He's at work right now and his reliability is about as good as rush keeping this site up. Plus he won't get off till 9pm tonight.

I'm going to wait till tues cuz I have to work tomorrow and I'm busy today. Sunday and monday are still up in the air for what I'm going to do but I feel some house work should get done because once I get NHL it'll be a few months before I will do it again.

Well today I bring you a gem. From the HF boards in a thread titled comparing the leafs to the hawks.

I think in 2 years the leafs will look pretty similar to the hawks team that won the cup last spring.

Towes=Bozak
Kane=Kadri/Kessel
Versteeg=Versteeg
Hossa=Kulemin

I hate how much Sens fans are overrating Cowen. I expect him to be a pretty good defenseman but Sens fans are thinking he is going to be a step ahead of Chara
