    NHL.com

Can't tell you who to cheer for, you'll figure that out on your own. What do you need to know about hockey?
All you need to know when thinking of the NHL vs Madden series is the two people involved in making the games.

    "rammer" and "cummings"

The NHL series is a giver, Madden takes the load.

probably easiest to cheer for your local team, unless that's not an option.

if it's not, you need to decide if you want to cheer for a rebuilding team, competitive team or a contender, then pick from what you like there.

A local team would be Nashville. So I may cheer for them. I want to try to get into the sport this upcoming season.

Nashville would be a good team to watch. They are an upcoming team with some good talent.

If you have no idea about the sport, best bet is to search for hockey rules, or just go get a book with them. But it isn't that hard to catch on really. Get a book with basic rules, or look online for them and you'll be good. Any questions, just ask here.

go to a game with someone who does know the game, buy them their ticket as long as they let you pick their brain the entire game.

ive taught a couple people the game like that.
