DirecTV doesnt carry low level wrestling PPV's, either. Sucks.
On the flip side, it's hard to justify paying for a PPV if it's not in HD. -

lol. The show is still on tho, DTV is the only company that won't be carrying it. They will however have Shine this Friday. Yay.Comment

Its so hard for these non UFC shows to make money, but Shark Fights wil be ok though, this show wont kill them, they are some what like Strikeforce was, they have a decent fan following, have a home base in Texas were they can count on fans to show up, they just need a big draw like Strikeforce had with Frank and Cung LeLiquidrob's Top 10 Fighters Rankings

First problem is the name...Shark Fights? LOL. Did they expect to ever get out of the HS Gym?
Same problem Strikeforce has...doesn't sound as professional as UFC, sadly.Comment

Strikeforce isnt bad, good they dont have a short version and sound like a UFC knock off like MFC, IFL, etc...
I believe they are changing there logo also and getting away from the douche look
Anway, its just crazy that Shine is going to available and Shark fights isnt, Shine is a joke, they might not even have a show, again, and guys are dropping out because know they are at an unsanctioned indian reservation where they might face suspensions for fighting

looks like Shine isnt getting the DirecTV treatment either
A day after we noted that DirecTV, alone among major carriers, had chosen to offer Friday night's Shine Fights pay-per-view card but not Saturday night's Shark Fights card, DirecTV has changed course. With Shine Fights' event moving from a sanctioned show in Virginia to an unsanctioned show on a tribal territory in Oklahoma, DirecTV decided not to offer Shine Fights anymore.
"We pulled it off the schedule given the possibility that the event may be canceled based on the last-minute venue change and we do not want to put our customers in the position having to get refunds," DirecTV said in a statement to MMAFighting.com.Liquidrob's Top 10 Fighters Rankings
