Jonathan Brookins vs. Kyle Watson
-I got Brookins in this one as he is the best overall fighter of the season. Good, overpowering wrestling, submissions, good enough striking. Watson is a pure BJJ guy so it will be interesting to see if he can control the longer limbs of Brookins. I don't know if Brookins will submit him like he has been doing to everyone else (via rear naked chokes), but I expect him to control the deal.

Michael Johnson vs. Nam Phan
-A much closer fight to me on paper. Johnson has not shown a whole hell of a lot this year despite being picked #1 by GSP. He has decent enough takedowns and G&P, but he is far from explosive and he has gassed in the past. Nam Phan has been around the circuits and may be the best overall fighter on the show...but he has a propensity for fighting down to his competition. Phan should be able to keep the fight standing and force Johnson to trade with him. If he can, Phan should win. If Johnson can take Phan down and lay on him for the two rounds....he'll win. Otherwise, Phan should be able to outwork him in every other area for the win.

Probably. He seems to have the Ultimate Fighting style down to a science. Yet another wrestler with no striking that can't do anything with his takedowns.
