Antonio Silva has agreed to fight Valentijn Overeem at the Strikeforce show that also features Dan Henderson vs Renato Sobral and Herschel Walker vs TBA.

Valentijn Overeem will make his debut for the second biggest north-American organization after scoring two fast knockouts in Pancrase and K1, whereas Antonio 'Bigfoot' Silva is looking to solidify his spot as a top contender. Melvin Manhoef is also expected to be part of the event

If Fedor doesnt fight Barnett next in January I don't know what to say anymore, if he is holding out for a Werdum rematch that is pretty weak

When Werdum comes back he will fight Overeem

I have no idea what Fedor is doing right now

Fedor is in negotiations with M-1 on an extension.

Sherdog says the earliest he could fight is the end of January show.

As for Big Foot and VOveerem, doesn't make a whole lot of sense. They gain nothing by having Silva beat him. They lose a future title challenger if VOvereem can knock him out.

Big Foot just wants to fight, tired of everyone hiding

It can set up an interesting angle if he beats down Valentijn, they can use that to hype up a potential Big Foot vs The Reem fight kind of like when Cro Cop beat up Aleks before he fought Fedor

They need to play up some of the stories they have, Big Foot calling everyone scared to fight, The Reem saying Fedor is running from him after chasing him down from Japan to the US, Werdum has wins over all 3 guys, etc...
