Exactly, Dana is playing emotional bcus the main event wasnt as good as he wanted it to be. Well, guess what dickhead, theres been a lot of subpar main events over the years of UFC. It shouldnt change the way you've operated with the bonuses up until now.

Dana White does not need to bribe people, that is what he is doing with no KOTN bonus or threatening to cut people after a win
So now Dana has shown fighters will be cut after 1 or 2 losses even if they're 'exciting', now he has threatened to cut And1 and Mir after wins, said fights for a title shot before and changed it after and so on, so what are these fighters supposed to think?

how did he not do his job? did you watch the first 13 minutes of the night?. no one deserved a bonus for that fight, plain and simple. your under some impression that it is somehow mandated that they have to give out bonuses, when really you have no clue about that whatsoever. it would be basically them saying, "yeah you put on the worst fight of the year by far and were an embarrasment to the sport but you landed a nice knee so heres 75 grand."
and wheres mir in all this? according to you he just got robbed 75 grand, and i dont know about you but i would be up in arms flipping out about it, yet we havent heard a word from him about it....Comment

We're gonna let Dana's emotions decide these types of things? A knee to the face is a legit KO, Frank LEGIT KO'd Mirko.. whether or not the fight was terrible prior to that shouldnt be relevant. Frank's job is to go in and win (or as some of you put it, go in and FINISH), and he fucking did that. Who is childish Dana White to change the way hes been doing things bcus he feels emotional about his main event? Maybe Dana shouldnt have set himself up to fail by having such a shitty main event in the first place. Its ok for Dana to have a lapse in judgement as to how to put together a successful card, but then he wants to punish Frank Mir for LEGIT KOing someone? rob i know this is a perfect opportunity for you to stand on your soapbox and bash dana and the ufc but i know that you know no one deserved any sort of bonus for that fight. it was the main event, the big fight of the night that's supposed to deliver, and it didnt. it was an embarrassment to the sport, and to award someone, KO or not, would just be wrong.Comment

Dana White gets awarded regardless of how bad the card is.
Frank Mir should be awarded regardless of how bad his fight was, because he indeed was the only person to earn the fucking bonus.
Its like a knee to the head wasnt a "good enough KO" for Dana. The fight should not matter.. Frank had the best fucking KO that night and there is ALWAYS a bonus given out for that, so this past Saturday should've been no different.Comment

well i see your whole argument and i guess we'll just agree to disagree. yes it was the knockout of the night, theres no arguing that but for someone to be rewarded when they just embarrassed the sport i dont see any problem in not handing them out a bonus. i know its really getting your panties in a bunch but thats how it is.Comment

If it was "how it is", I would understand, because perhaps Dana would have done this before to set president, but to give out bonuses all the time and just randomly decide not to do it now because the main event, and the card as a whole, disapointed you just shows bitterness and terrible business sense.
The worst part about this for fighters is now in the future they will think they can legit get a KO and still not be awarded bonuses. As if these fucking guys dont have enough pressure on them from Dana as it is.Comment

From Rob and Kuz, I guess fight promoters should be the most honest men on earth, so much so, they make 'ol Honest Abe look like a crook.
Plus, Mir is not going to be cut...well, unless he loses and has another piss poor performance. Standard UFC contracts allow fighters to be cut ONLY after a loss.
