    Fedor Considering Retirement

Right now, Strikeforce are struggling to find me a serious opponent. Alistair Overeem keeps finding all sorts of excuses not to fight me. The remaining stars have lost in their recent fights, so the promotion has no desire to put them up against me. And Fabricio Werdum is still recovering from his surgery. In addition, I have only one fight remaining with Strikeforce.
    ...
My next fight will be last on the Strikeforce contract. I'm yet to decide whether I'm going to continue my fighting career after this contract expires. Also, my candidacy nominated for the Post of Deputy in Belgorod Regional Duma, and if I'm elected, I think, will defend the interests of the people and try to do my best efforts for the development of sport. But again, I think it's too early to talk about it. I have to finalize the contract and prepare for my last bout.

Lol @ Allistar having excuses to fight Fedor..

FEDOR IS SCARED... he knows the power of THE REEM. He wants to get out before he tarnishes his reputation anymore then Werdum already has.

Fedor has lost it, guy just doesnt want to fight The Reem, just this week M-1 is saying they're working on a 5 fight extension with Strikeforce, now they come up with this

Funny M-1 only called out The Reem when he already said he was going to do K-1, before that they were trying to fight Werdum again, The Reem should be ranked number 1 on fear alone

Overeem and Werdum need to fight next, Fedor needs to go to the back of the line and get a win, he should have taken the Silva fight, but now he should take the Barnett fight, if he waits around for Werdum its a joke

I want to see Fedor and Overeem.

Hopefully Overeem doesn't spend another two years before he returns to SF.

Fedor has known for a while his best years are behind him.. surviving on his work-out regiment and body type for all these years has taken a toll on him. Im sure Fedor really doesnt give a fuck at this point, either.. so fighting THE REEM isnt even in his best interests. Its a shame hes saying THE REEM is ducking him tho.. THE REEM will fight anyone, anytime (aslong as hes cycling off).

Eh, not surprised. Whether he's ducking Reem or not... don't really care. Its not like Fedor is training maintain his "almost unbeaten" status anymore. That's gone.

Am I the only one who couldnt possibly care less if Fedor fights the roided up can opener?

I'd much rather see Fedor/Werdum II or Fedor/Barnett.

Fedor/Barnett or Fedor/'Reem would be my preference.

Fedor needs to fight Barnett, than he will get the winner of The Reem vs Werdum

I don't know why M-1/Fedor cant understand this, they lost all there leverage

Fedor/Barnett would be the one fight on the planet I would want to see more than any other, asdie from some dream world shit like GSP/Anderson Silva that will never happen.
