End of the year Guru Extravaganza

well ive been thinking of some ideas to end the year of the guru with something a little different. i think a playoff would be a fun way to crown a "champ" for 2010. i was thinking the playoff would be the top 12 guys over the last 4 big events of the year starting with strikeforce - hendo/babalu on 12/4 and ending with ufc 125 on 1/1. the top 4 seeds would get a bye for the first round and would hop in during in the second event. if it started right now the rankings would be:

1.Liquidrob
2.Shogun
3.The Buddha
4.CrimsonGhost56
5.Larry
6.EmpireWF
7.Kuzzy
8.JeremyHight
9.Bmore
10.Clovett
11.Bdub515
12.JayDizzle

(and keep in mind theres still a bunch of events before this would start so rankings will change as long as you keep voting)

essentially the playoff would break down like this:

Event #1 - Strikeforce - Hendo/Babalu (12/4)
4 matchups (1 -4 seeds would have byes)

Event #2 - UFC 124 (12/11)
4 matchups (1 -4 seeds would join the playoff)

Event #3 - Dynamite 2010!! (12/31)
Final 4

Event #4 - UFC 125 (1/1)
Championship

(in case of tiebreakers you would also need to pick when and how the main event is gonna end and whoever is closer will win)

outside of those 4 cards the only other one i could see possibly being included is WEC 53. its still a good month+ still it starts so we can switch things around if need be. just thought id just lay down the basics.

They're two big shows, of course it will be UFC heavy.

so... playoffs are coming up soon and i need to know what 4 events you want in the playoffs. theres 5 to choose from, so please tell me which ones you want.. i wanted the Ultimate Fighter 12 to close out the "regular" season but its on the same exact day as Strikeforce Hendo-Babalu so that could be a pain in the balls with two events going on simultaneously and if we dont count the TUF Finale the standings will be final as they stand today... but anyway here are the 5 events to choose from

Strikeforce - Hendo/Babalu (12/4)
UFC 124 - GSP/Koscheck 2 (12/11)
WEC 53 (12/16)
Dynamite!! (12/31)
UFC 125 (1/1)

Dynamite may be the odd one out for me, but would like to see the full card first. UFC 124 is pretty weak on paper aswell..

the thing is with dynamite, the full card probably wont be finalized until last minute, IIRC theres only 1 confirmed fight so far but Dynamite is always a sweet card. my vote is to leave off 124, its the weakest out of all of them (assuming Dynamite is good).

Leave 125 out and use that for the new guru. Everything works out perfectly. No more than a week between shows until the "SUPERBOWL" finale of Dynamite which gives us a two-week break.

We should have plenty of fights to choose from for Dynamite 2-3 weeks before the 31st.
