    I feel bad for Brock

I shouldnt, but he was thrown in to early, this is why guys need to be 'built up' and refine there skills

Cain came up the right way and it shows, Brock got by on size and athletism, but now the jig is up, Carwin set it off, Cain finished the job

That is not how a champ of a major org should fight, 2 fights in a row and he gets pummelled and his defense is tucking his head and covering up like he is getting ready for a plane crash

Like I said earlier, even Bob Sapp was awesome until he started getting punched in the face, of course Brock has the wrestling background, but its a very valid comprasion

    He lost. Everybody loses.

I've never seen such buzz or rampant overeactions over a loss.

it was a very very bad loss, whats amazing about this sport is a guy like brock who is considered a monster, biggest baddest dude around get cracked in the face and beat down

the hype was to much, like I said time and time again

dreams were shattered, I don't think he comes back, maybe against mir for a confidence boost and easy money, would be funny that 3 of his 7 fights would be against Mur

He's coming back vs. The Undertaker in Wrestlemania 27.
He was reportedly making $9M a year in his last year in the WWE.
It's safe to say he'll top that when he returns.

I guess he should have went the Bobby Lashley route, too?

No way. He wanted the top of the heap and he did pretty damn well, beating Herring, Couture, Mir and Carwin. He'll go back to the gym, improve and come back a better fighter.

I'm sure Brock won't be too upset when Vince McMahon backs a Brinks truck up to his hut in Minnesota that doesn't have running water.

                Has Brock made much improvements?

I think the problem is guys like Brock and even Lashley train like top guys who have trained for a long time

Brock does 'training camps', that is what you do when you have been in the game a long time, fought the scrubs on the way up, train pretty much all the time when you are still learning every day in the gym with the other fighters, this sport is so vast

It takes time to learn how to fight at a high level, thats why Brock fights are these wild/entertaining fights because he is just winging it with stuff he just trains for a couple months at a time

I think its very similar to his pro football thing

He is an awesome athlete, a monster, but he just didnt have the technique and experience to make it, football you cant a shot by being a 'draw', you can in fighting

He did well with what he has, favorable match ups helped also, the hype made him better than he seemed

His next fight will be very telling

Brock really should consider going back to the WWE.. he clearly doesnt like being hit, and will make even more money doing fake fighting, and can probably negotiate a light house-show schedule aswell. Vince gonna work his magic, even if its just a temporary thing.

He stands to make more as a fighter, its far easier on his body to be a fighter, and he hates the road & pro wretling in general.

If Dana let's him, he should take the WM payoff. Guys do that in Japan all the time, its no big deal. Plus the MMA fans will hate that, and will hate him even more.

He probably would have made the Vikings had he spent more time there. As it was, they wanted him to go to NFLE to get more experience before they added him to the roster.

But Rob, you're talking like he's a shitty fighter. He still beats a lot of the top 15 heavies.

IMO, Lesnar pretty much holds all the cards here.

Of course, it would have been a better situation for him if he had won Saturday night.

If Lesnar can win in UFC before Wrestlemania, it will help him with both organizations.

I have ordered one UFC PPV - Carwin vs. Lesnar - and I still can't understand how people think $59 (HD price) for a one-round match and four or five similar undercards is value for the money.
I liked the PPV I ordered, but it was 20 minutes of action and 3 hours of build up.

I love how all the MMA guys are dismissing him after the loss because he was a pro wrestler.
You can hate on Lesnar all you want, but the guy gave UFC numbers they never could have gotten without him.
