Joe Rogan should not be your only color guy, just doesnt make sense to me as a MMA fan, Hughes thinks there should be a 3rd guy also

The ground game was pretty even in my book with Shields doing a little more controlling. I really think the UFC could use a third man doing the broadcast, that has some experience inside the Octagon. I don't disagree with everything Rogan says, but there are a lot of things he says that I just laugh at."

I am all for a third guy, however, not during the PBP of the fight. Have a between-round analyst, pre-and-post-fight analyst, but during the PBP...two guys, the PBP and the color guy. A third is too much.

As for Rogan, his excitement is both a blessing and a curse. It's good for the atmosphere, becaue e genuinly loves to watch fights and it comes through. But it's bad because he over reacts. "He rocked him!! He's rocked!"..."He's in big trouble Mike!!!!...his constant false alarms are comical. And he clearly plays favorites most of the time. I do like that he says whatever the fuck he wants, brings up non Zuffa fighters, etc.

This is stupid anyway, because he isnt going anywhere.

Jens Pulver is broke and needs to keep fighting. The WEC gig was his to lose and he turned it down because it didn pay the bills. So forget him.

And sorry guys, but Bas Rutten sucks in the booth. Yes, I said it. So overated. Great manly man, awful commentator.
