Brock will take home several million from that fight, the top guy get a PPV percentage.

Also, this idea that boxers make more money is misleading anyway. Only the tippy top superstar boxers like PBF or Holyfield/Tyson in another era get the huge $20M type paydays. Te further you go down the card, the more the MMA guys make. The only edge boxers have is a the very top of the card, when it comes to the two or three megastars of the sport. There isnt a boxer in the world working 6th or 7th from he to making 5 figures, this happens routinely in the UFC.

Dave, you're forgetting that, unlike in boxing, even the lesser known fighters tend to have tons of sponsors and get the majority of their income through the sponsors. The big PPV draws like Chuck, Tito, Brock, etc also get a cut of the PPV money. While the top boxers may get more $$ than top MMA fighters, the lower tier guys and those rising through the ranks definitely get more from MMA.


O ya, and Rob is the biggest UFC hater in the joint, if he ever had to have a sit down with Dana White he'd probably slit his throat and send Scott Coker Dana's head in a basket.

Very few MMA fighters draw, and the ones that do, get PPV cuts.

The UFC is selling the brand, not the fighters. Most MMA feds attempt to sell the brand, not the fighters.

I personally hate the boxing model...its unsatisfying. If Money May and PacMan were in a boxing federation that was set up like the MMA biz, that fight would have happened years ago.

Yes, MMA fighters are underpaid, but I enjoy the structure moreover the boxing structure, which has been a cause for its downfall. Also, boxers, by at large, make garbo. The tippy guys bank, anything other than the highest 1% still struggle.

MMA fighters make a lot of money through advertising...its a part of their paycheck you really don't see.
