If you want some previews on this card and Bellator, check out old schooler Eddie Goldman

No Holds Barred: Super Thursday Preview of M-1 Challenge XXI and Bellator 34

On this edition of No Holds Barred, host Eddie Goldman previews the two big international mixed martial arts cards which will take place on Super Thursday, October 28: M-1 Challenge XXI and Bellator 34.

M-1 Challenge XXI will feature two title fights. American Top Team fighter Kenny "Deuce" Garner, the M-1 Selection Americas heavyweight champion, will face Guram Gugenishvili of Ukraine, the M-1 Selection Western Europe champion, for the newly-created M-1 heavyweight title. There will also be a lightweight title fight between Artiom Damkovsky, the M-1 Selection Eastern Europe 2010 champion, and Mairbek Taisumov, the M-1 Selection Western Europe 2010 champion. In addition, the unbeaten and highly-touted Magomed Shikshabekov of Russia will face Che Mills of the U.K. in a welterweight super bout.

The M-1 Challenge XXI card takes place in St. Petersburg, Russia, and will be webcast for free and live on Thursday, October 28, at http://www.M-1Global.com. The webcast will start at 7:30 PM MSD (Moscow Daylight Time), or 11:30 AM EDT/8:30 AM PDT in North America.

Bellator 34, the last of season three and of 2010 for the Bellator Fighting Championships, will also feature two title fights. American Top Team fighter and Bellator middleweight champion Hector Lombard, a former member of the Cuban Olympic judo team, will defend his belt against Alexander Shlemenko of Russia, who won the Bellator middleweight tournament. The top women's pound-for-pound fighter in the world, the unbeaten Megumi Fujii of Japan, with an unprecedented record of 22-0, will face American Zoila Frausto in the finals of the women's 155-pound tournament for the Bellator title at that weight.

Bellator 34 takes place Thursday, October 28, at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. It will be televised in the U.S. on the Fox Sports Net affiliates, so check your local listings.

We also ask our listeners this question: On No Holds Barred, should there be more coverage of UFC, less coverage, or about the same amount of coverage?

Fedor is sitting ringside in one of his patented casual sweaters next to Vadim.

Was that Michael Buffer I just saw doing ring announcing?

Nope. Just a Russian dude who looks like him...sounds nothing like him.
