The bad is that you think the PPV's will be better with more quality fighters, but they will offset that with more PPV's and try and dilute the cards to make more money, I don't see many 145ers and 135ers making the main card besides the champs and Faber, but at least the undercards should be better

Zuffa doesnt even like promoting the 155ers besides Penn, or going after talent at 155, so don't see them really pushing or trying to get big name talent for the lighter weights

More cost for fights that were free
Dana has said they're maxed out in PPVs so they won't be adding more.

Out of the gate, it should only help the quality of PPVs and they're maxing the # of free shows not on Spike (4 on Versus).

I wonder what kind of signing spree (if any) they will go on in preparation for the merger to bring in more 145ers and 135ers.

Why does everyone think they need more 135 & 145's? They have a full roster of each already, and let's be honest, the smaller the weight class, the less featured it will be. You won't be seeing shows that have five 135 lb fights....

You have to keep bringing in new competition, otherwise it will get stale. No one wants to see Aldo smash Faber, Manny, Brown, etc... again.

Gotta bring in more guys and build them up through the hype train. I can easily see the smaller fighters making a leap frog over some of the other weight classes as the most popular, because (IMO) they bring the more action packed fights.
