Want to get a customized hockey jersey

I saw that NHL.com had a free customization day in late September. Right now they have free shipping but I'd rather get free customization. Do y'all think they will have another one before mid Feb.? I would like to have it before my trip to Chicago to wear it to the game. I'm the type of guy that likes to buy the $$$ authentic jerseys. An authentic customized jersey would set me back $380 (the most I paid before was $300 for a custom Cubs jersey).

Buying authentic hockey jerseys is pretty stupid since the difference between the authetic ones and the other ones on the NHL site is the jersey tie down on the back of the jersey and I think the material is a little different.

A couple buddies of mine bought the other ones off NHL.com a couple years ago and they use them when we play pickup hockey and they look fine.

The whole free customizing thing is meh. Most of the guys I know who have bought them got them blank and pay the extra bucks and get the customizing done here in town.

After reading a couple of forums, I think I will get the replica ones. Supposedly the new Edge Rbk Premier are sized the same as street clothing, while authentic ones leave room for pads. I'm only 5'6 and 135, so I am debating whether a S or M size for me.
I see two online shops that are mentioned alot....SportsK.com & Jerseyexpress.com. Both of them come out to around $165....SK.com offers the championship patch for $14 more. Anyone have experience with anyone of them or know someone who has?

I've only had buddies order from nhl.com and from stores around here since every one sells hockey jerseys up here.

You don't find too many stores selling NHL jerseys in Texas.

I told my wife that I was thinking of getting a customized jersey and how the authentic one cost 300 (off the sites I found) and half the price for replica. She kept asking me questions (what size and customization)....I think she was thinking of what to get me for Xmas. I might wait till early next year to make sure she doesn't get me it for the Holidays.

My wife even likes to watch the games with me. She really gets excited when a fight breaks out. She has declared herself a Minn. Wild fan because the Houston Aeros are affiliated with them.

            Quick Update:

Shop for officially licensed National Hockey League jerseys CoolHockey offers quality jerseys from Adidas, CCM and more! Offering all 32 NHL teams with professional customization since 1999.

CoolHockey is having a 48 hour sale on lettered jerseys, with the customization being half price ($30 instead of $60). Their lettering is probably the best in the biz, to the point where Shop.NHL.com and Real Sports Apparel have switched to them to do the stitching jobs, so it really is a bargain. (CanadasTeam50 had some pics up before of his Versteeg, it was really nice)

The current jerseys come out to just over $140 lettered, which is $50 less than retail. Shipping won't cost much either if you're in Toronto - they're local. They also have a few other designs available too, and other teams.
Got that from the HF boards.

Said the domain name was seized by the U.S. Guess they are being looked into counterfeiting.

The replicas are nice. Got my Lidstrom one from a local store for around $150.
