    What was worse?

I recently seen a clip of Kos grabbing a male nurse by the throat, clearly he was trying to choke him or rip his adams apple out, not sure how far it went because it was just a gif

So you have Kos assualting a non fighter on Spike TV which can be editted to not be seen with roughly 1.5 million viewers or you have Paul Daley taking a sucker punch at Kos right after the bell on a PPV

what do you think is the 'worse'?

If Koscheck punched the dude, he would have gotten in trouble.

You expect someone to storm over to a fighter after the fight ends, sucker punch them and not be punished?

And a gif is a gif. The two were shit talking each other, it finally boiled over into a pull apart, no punches thrown and that was that.

        Okay professor liquid

What's worse is one fighter sucker punching another fighter after the conclusion of a fight.

          The sucker punch was worse.

Both situations lack in professionalism, but the in-ring incident happened in a situation where professionalism is key. Any lack of professionalism reflects poorly on the fighters, the organization, and the sport.

In truth, the two situations are tough to compare. It would be nice to expect professionalism on the TV show. But simply put, its an environment where fighters acting out is "good television". The context is simply very very different.

maybe you guys can explain to me what happened, I didnt see the show

was this fake? it would have to be because I don't see how an org like the UFC would promote a fighter assualting another person where they can edit it out on there flagship show, but than cut a fighter for a sucker punch after the bell

why would they promote this? I don't understand

was this a spike TV decision? does the UFC not have control of there product?

Nobody saw the show, everyone stopped watching TUF like 5 years ago.

                It's a reality tv show.

Fuck, NSAC's Kizer was right there when the shit happened.

                Grasping at straws.

                  ?

So the UFC only punishes when the NSAC is right there and not when it's on television?

                  And the NSAC punsihed Daley

Kizer was there when the TUF scrum happened. It went down before weigh ins.

I don't have a problem with either situation to be honest. Look at the fight that broke out with Jeff Gordon after the Nascar race. Punches get thrown in football, all the time in hockey, etc. But you never see anyone making a big deal out of it, at least not in any negative way. Usually two drivers getting into a brawl is good publicity for Nascar. So what's the problem with what Daley did? He threw one punch and the ref stepped in and did what he was suppose to do. Fine the guy and move on as they would in any other sport.

Well, when NHL players start a fight, it's two guys throw down gloves and get into it. No idea about the Nascar brawl, never saw it.

What Daley did...as soon as the bell rang and the fight was over, Koscheck turned...Daley stormed over to him and threw a punch.

You don't see a problem with that?

Can't have guys attacking each other after a fight.

It's a problem, but the punishment didn't fit the crime. Also, anytime something like this happens in MMA everyone blows it out of proportion, they act like these type of things never happen in any other sport.

                              Agreed.

MMA fighters, and also boxers, are held to a tougher standard than guys in team sports when it comes to fights.
