      ... wtf?

This card blows... guess it's to be expected for a free card. But when the biggest name on the card is Ken Flo...

It's got little star power but it's a better card than Germany is getting.

        Kenny Florian vs. Evan Dunham
        Mike Swick vs. David Mitchell
        Matt Mitrione vs. Tim Hague
        DaMarques Johnson vs. Michael Guymon
        Yves Edwards vs. Melvin Guillard
        * Mark Hominick vs. George Roop
        * Patrick Barry vs. Joey Beltran
        * Chan Sung Jung vs. Rani Yahya

All those are quality undercard fights. So what if there is no big main event, at least it's free.

Fight for the Troops is usually a pretty shitty card. Getting Ken Flo vs Dunham for a main event is actually pretty solid.

The main event should be a decent fight at least, and it does have some bearing on the next contender for the LW title. That's not bad at all for being a freebie card.

Jorge came HARD against Quarry, that was a very impressive performance. That should be a good fight.

it probably will be an entertaining fight but in the grand scheme of things does it really matter ... at all? (especially for a co-main event) outside of just being a slugfest to entertain the crowd

                      Florian off the card.

Florian was scheduled to face rising prospect Dunham in the headlining bout of the Fight for the Troops 2 show on January 22 at Fort Hood, TX. Melvin Guillard has been pulled from his bout with Yves Edwards and will face Dunham in the new main event.

Florian Out, Guillard in to face Dunham in main event

Melvin Guillard will reportedly step in to replace an injured Kenny Florian against Evan Dunham in the lightweight main event of UFC’s “Fight for the Troops 2,” set to take place on Jan. 22 at Fort Hood in Killeen, Texas.

News of Florian’s withdrawal from the matchup was first reported on Monday by MMAJunkie.com. A subsequent report from Heavy.com revealed that Florian suffered a knee injury in training, and that Guillard had been pulled from his undercard bout against Yves Edwards to replace the former lightweight title challenger.

A contestant on the second season of “The Ultimate Fighter,” the 27-year-old Guillard has experienced something of a mid-career resurgence since joining up with famed trainer Greg Jackson. After suffering a second-round submission loss to Nate Diaz in September 2009, the “Young Assassin” bounced back with a unanimous decision win over touted Brazilian Ronys Torres in February. Guillard went 3-0 in 2010, also notching victories against Jeremy Stephens and Waylon Lowe, and is 6-1 in his last seven outings.

Dunham, meanwhile, will look to rebound from a highly controversial split decision loss to former champion Sean Sherk at UFC 119. The defeat was the first black mark on Dunham’s ledger after the rangy southpaw began his career 11-0, including four victories inside the Octagon. Considered one of the premier prospects in the UFC’s 155-pound division, Dunham holds notable wins over the likes of Tyson Griffin, Marcus Aurelio and Cleber Luciano.
