I called Scott Coker and worked it all out, Bigfoot will face...

    ...Mike Kyle on Saturday.

Give them credit for getting something done, the easy thing to do would be to just punt the fight this close to fight night.

NOW C'MON SCOTT, GET THE REST OF THESE GUYS IN THE CAGE

I would have rather seen Minowaman.

I don't see how it's better to send a guy in with only a week to prepare. You just can't have these type of things in a big show.

Yeah, you're probably right, it's much better to give the fans some shit prelim fight, especially when seemingly every heavyweight fight you try to put together falls apart and nobody in the division ever fights.

Look, it was becoming comical. These guys hardly ever fight. SF heavies spend more time fighting outside SF than they do inside. Give credit to Coker, he's getting Bigfoot in the cage on what has already been a disaster of a show when it comes to fights falling apart.

yeah, good job getting one of your few LHW contenders to fight another HW fight where he will lose, plus HW is a division where they actually have talent

Kyle will now have 2 losses on the only times he has been on the Showtime main show

So where are they all? Why do they never fight?

That's right, they are all busy fighting elsewhere, or refusing to fight, so Coker had nowhere else to turn.

I guess you guys would rather watch prelims.

There is an ELITE wrestler on the prelims

I'm glad Big Foot didnt get dropped because he wants to fight, glad Kyle is fighting because he likes to fight, I will like the fight, but fight does nothing for Strikeforce

Actually hurts them more, Oldereem was supposed to get smashed and was a showcase for Big Foot, now when he wins he just beat one of there few LHW contenders in there thinnest division

Agree with Mamba here, just scrap the fight and let Big Foot fight in January

Kyle was supposed to fight Roger Gracie and it got bumped this show, put them in January in the actually divisions they are contending in. also rumor of Kyle fighting Mousasi in Jan, this fight hurts those future fights IMO

This show was already a disaster in terms of fights falling apart, if you keep scraping fights you have no card left. Plus the fact the heavyweights seemingly never fight.

Didn't matter to me who it was, they needed to find someone to fight Bigfoot, and they did.

And rob, Kyle is not a legit contender, he's the SF answer to James Irvin.

He is a legit contender in SF, he has a win over Feijao and just beat Abongo, he is one of the more credible guys on there roster of LHW as far as wins go, also KOTC LHW Champ

They should have scrapped it or got a real can to fight Big Foot for a nice HL

My original idea was to just feed the H. Walker can to Bigfoot, since both guys were on the same training schedule anyway.

And I just took a look at the SF 205's, and I suppose you are right, he is one of the better guys, but I think that speaks more to the depth of the division than anything else.

I would've rather seen this match-up from the start to be honest.

Prelim or not, I'd much rather see two guys who are in shape and fully prepared opposed to this Ultimate Fighter style of match making.

Hold on a second, how do you know if Kyle is in shape or not? When these guys step in , it's because they are in shape and ready to go.

I don't understand you guys, this is actually a half decent fight, especially considering how depleted this show ended up being.
