TREMENDOUS news for Bellator and MMA

Bellator will now air live on FX, with replays on FSN and Fuel TV.

FX is a major cable player, with 100 million homes. This was really the best imaginable scenerio for Bellator.

Fuel wanted MMA badly, that would have been a crappy deal for Bellator, but they at least had that in their back pocket if all else failed. MTV2 wouldn't have mattered either, the lucha libre show does miniscule numbers and nobody gets the channel anyway. G4 looked like the best option, but again, nobody gets that channel either and DirecTV recently dropped them. FX came out of left field, I haven't heard them attached to any mma/boxing/wrestling negotiations in many years.

Would be interested to know what some of the details are, how much they're paying Bellator (if anything), they need money from TV seeing that the attendence is so low, hopefully this will be a boost for them, they put on good shows
