UFC 126 Stacked Super Bowl Card

The February 5th show has been confirmed with the following card:

    Main Card:
    Anderson Silva vs. Vitor Belfort
    Forrest Griffin vs. Rich Franklin
Jake Ellenberger vs. Carlos Eduardo Rocha
    Jon Jones vs. Ryan Bader
    Miguel Torres vs. Antonio Banuelos

    Preliminary Card:
    Sam Stout vs. Paul Kelly
    Chad Mendes vs. Michihiro Omigawa
    Paul Taylor vs. Gabe Ruediger
Norifumi "Kid" Yamamoto vs. Demetrious Johnson
    Mike Pierce vs. Kenny Robertson
    Kyle Kingsbury vs. Ricardo Romero
It's possible they will run a Spike show and pull 2 fights from the prelims...but the idea of Kid fighting in a half empty pre-show...damn.

Going to Vegas the first week of February and my buddy's dad was able to scrounge up 8 tickets to this event. Never been to a big time MMA event before so I'm pretty pumped. I have to think Bones Jones and Bader is the co-main though. Completely stacked card.

      What a loaded show.

Ellenberger/Rocha on the main show instead of Kid/johnson is criminal. That Ellenberger fight has no juice, nobody cares.

Yeah, the Ellenberg-Rocha fight on the main card is a head-scratcher. If I had to guess, the UFC is looking to build up one of them into a contender for GSP. Mebbe Rocha?

the UFC has been pushing ellenberger for a while now. no surprise hes on the main card instead of kid, who casual fans wouldn't know from a hole in the wall.

Noone gives a fuck about Jake Ellenberger.

That fight just doesnt fit in with the rest.

Stout/Kelly has much more entertainment value.

            SNORE @ Chad Mendes.

I'm confident that the Omigawa/Mendes fight will be shown on SPIKE, and the KID fight will get priority view on the PPV when they need downtime.

              I really hope Omigawa doesn't get LNP'd.
