The Voice knows fighting, he is far from the gimmick people label him as. He understands techniques, he understands the business side, he even understands the gambling aspects. He doesnt pretend gimmick fights are anything more than that, but he also respects them for what they are because he "gets" it. He understands how to push a storyline, and he knows how and when to get excited at the right times. Plus, he's entertaining as fuck with his goofy one liners and quick wit.

I'm a big fan, best play by play in the business.

Another line was something like 'trying to find a pubic hair at a justin beiber concert' or some shit like that, lol

I also loved at a show a while ago, when someone pulled there arm out from an armbar attempt he said 'like pulling excalibur from the stone'

Love that he knows K-1 also, I dont know if his act will make it to a show like Strikeforce, the UFC or Bellator though

        Emphatic co-sign.

I've been saying he was the best for years.

He's also very well versed in Muay Thai, and *gasp*, pro wrestling.

Hes growing on me for sure. How can I hate a man who recognizes gambling odds so frequently? I still think he tries too hard but it often results in some hilarious punch lines.

He's based in Australia so I wouldn't expect him to go to SF or Bellator. UFC has Goldy and unless he fucks up, he's sticking.

But yes, he improves the broadcast by far.

Imagine a Schiavello & Bas commentating team.

Rogan is a big fan of The Voice and would love to work with him, Rogan knows Goldie sucks though, but Goldie will never be dropped, he shills like no other

Mauro has gone off the deep end, like him sometimes, but his act gets old quick

The Voice, Shamrock and Pat would be a great 3 man team

Bas Rutten is the most overated analyst ever. I like the guy, but he sucks in the booth.

                        I'd kill for a Schiavello/Shamrock team honestly.

cracked up at the "harder than finding a pubic hair at a justin bieber concert" line, just busted up laughing

Miletich is way too dry, he's fine for Challenger shows, but he isnt a big time announcer.

Shamrock dumbs it down for the mass audience, he tends to keep it simple, but he understands who he is talking to, especially when he's on CBS. I love how he uses the catch wrestling terms like "hammerlock" and "knee bar" instead of the BJJ terms, that always gets the elitist dorks up in arms on the geek forums the next day.

Anyway, my dream team would be Schivello/Rogan. I think they would have fantastic chemistry.
