You would think after getting subbed so quick, losing for the first time in forever he would have worked out a little harder this time, he needs to hit up Walker for his bread and soup diet

I hope to god Fedor kicks some serious ass in this tournament, because it's really frustrating how casuals rip him to pieces since he lost to Werdum. Fuckers who have no perspective and likely have only seen the Rogers & Werdum fights.
In that respect, Fedor shares an odd relationship to Brock Lesnar, as two guys who are unfairly criticized by people who were just waiting to pile on after a bad loss.Comment

Fedor's never going to be a guy who looks ripped...that kinda looks normal for him actually lol...maybe the gut is a bit bigger?Originally posted by Nick MangoldWes Welker is a great player. He's really taken advantage of watching film. If we don't keep a Spy on him, he could really open the Gate.Comment

I personally dont think Fedor has cared for some time. Mafia 1 owns is ass at this point, hes just trying to get his money, go to church, and eat ice cream. I honestly think Fedor would have no problem hanging it up right now and retiring to some forest in Kazan.Comment

I dotn think its just lighting, he has lost some mass, and become rounder, this was thw weigh in with Big Tim I believe

Whether he has extra gut or not, who cares? As long as he's not spending 23 hours a day on his sofa watching old PRIDE tapes, I'd venture to say he's still a top 3 heavyweight in terms of ass kicking ability.
Now if he looks horrible next week....fuck.

Only W2B can find a way to compare Brock to Fedor, that's def not an easy feat. But, I gotta say it's two diff situations. With Fedor he has too much history on his side to trash him after one fight, Brock on the other hand never had that luxury. Maybe people were waiting to pile on Brock, but at the end of the day their criticisms weren't wrong.Comment

i agree. its not like he was undefeated his entire career and was the most badass motherfucker on the planet. the fight game is a fickle sport and your only as good as your last fight so this backlash was to be expected. fedor will earn his respect back on the 12th. and lol @ critiquing fedor's physique. hes never ever looked like your stereotypical "fighter" and now people are starting to nit-pick it. give it a restComment

The guy beat Mir, Herring, Couture, and Carwin, all basically as a novice. All of the MMA elistist picked him to lose all of those fights (well, maybe not the Herring fight, but I dont really remember), and ended up wrong. "Well, Mir isnt that good...Couture is old...Carwin gassed..." could never just give the guy credit. He loses to Cain, in a fight where he was pretty much expected to lose by anyone who had a clue, and everyone piled on.
If Lesnar was a guy straight out of collegiate wrestling, jumping into the deep end of the pool like he did, with that level of success, he would be a cult figure among the elitist. But, as we all know, he committed the ungodly, unforgivable crime of being a phoney pro wrestler, which for reasons unknown chafes the ass of sherdorks and elitists.
Nothing he achieved matters, only the loss to Cain, because that justifies the years of saying it would happen. Well, eventually they would have turned out right.
Brock and Fedor are the two most unfairly criticized fighters in the world.Comment

Warner
beating Mir is not impressive, the guy was pounded out by Ian Freeman, Marcio Cruz and made Vera look like the next big thing
Couture is not a legit HW who came off a year lay off, plus Brock had over 60 pounds on him
Carwin is Bret Rogers at this point with less of a gas tank, all these guys are hype besides Randy who I always said is more of a good story than a great all time fighter
You fell for the hype of the 'New Breed of HW' (Lesnar, Carwin, Cain, Duffee) when the only legit guy from that group is Cain
He was never, I repeat, never the number 1 HW in the world
He is a good fighter who got some nice wins early but was mostly hype, please lets get back to the days where you need more than 5 fights to be called the best or eliteLiquidrob's Top 10 Fighters Rankings

No one is saying he should be ripped or whatever because thats not him, but he is only 34 and looks softer and smaller than normal
You would think he would come back more focused and it would show in his physique some whatLiquidrob's Top 10 Fighters Rankings
