rob should love this. I should post this on the SF forum, but they will claim i'm baiting since that's my rep for some reason. Someone else will put it up eventually.

I had no issue with what he was saying until the end, when he started in with the stuff about Fedor ducking the UFC because they have the best fighters.

First of all, Fedor negotiated with the UFC first, and would have went there had Dana played ball with M1.

Secondly, SF has better heavyweights. Definately deeper.

Can't argue with the SF heavyweight division. This tournament is more exciting than anything in the UFC until they strike a deal for the GSP/Silva superfight IMO.

I think it's getting closer and closer though. With Fedor losing two in a row and supposedly contemplating retirement, along with Arlovski having near death experiences every time he steps into the cage, it will continue to become more even.

Well, Fedor didn't really milk anything...

If he wanted to, he would have signed with UFC, made millions off of PPV buyrates and then whatever would have happened...

I don't have a problem either with him never fighting in UFC, the SF heavyweight division is underrated.

Jim Rome does not follow MMA or know much about it, he hated MMA for years and now 'likes it' because the UFC advertises a ton on his show, Rome is a paid UFC shill

Anyway, it's on the SF forum already

Besides the fact that they advertise, his sudden turnaround on the sport also convieniently happened right around the boom in '05-'06. He did the same shit with NASCAR, made fun of it for years, until he realised there was a broad audinece for it.
