    Fedor to 205?

Sources close to the Russian say he is giving serious consideration to the prospect of fighting newly crowned Dan Henderson at 205 pounds.

The prospect of the fight was put to him by Strikeforce before the weekend’s Henderson/Feijao showdown.

Negotiations are underway and - if past experience is anything to go by - are likely to go on for some time. But the fight is of interest to all parties and is likely to happen later this year.

I love Hendo but on his feet he just crouches stalks and swings his right.

Fedor should have a ridiculous advantage standing. But he loooves to exchange and Hendos right hand is a proven commodity.

Will this be called the U.S v Russia or the battle for Rushmore ?

I dunno if Fedor loves to exchange. He went in there and brawled with Big Foot which is why he lost the fight, his striking was very patient and methodical back in Pride. He also used the ground game heavily as well, so it'll be interesting to see whether or not he could take the wrestlers @ 205 down. If he can it's game over.

Yes, but recent Fedor doesnt show interest in any of those things.

Hes come out swinging and shown little patience in any of his fights since Pride.
