Interesting comments today from Ron Wilson about all of this headshot stuff. Pretty much said people are over reacting to everything. Thinks the internet and social media makes things spread like wildfire is really what fuels all of this.

Showed a montage of players getting hit into the "turnbuckle"
Showed his idea on how to fix it. Putting the glass at a 45 degree angle.
Said chara either gets no suspension or a 20gamer if the league wants to send a message. Said he didn't think there should of been a suspension anyways.
Went on a hilarious rant about the owners of the canadiens and told them they should fix their shit arena first.
Other hilariousness and he wore a sick green suit with a badass hat in the begining.

Why the fuck should he be suspended? It's the equivalent to a defensive back in football committing a pass interference penalty in the end zone which subsequently causes the receiver to hit the goal post. Just a dangerous spot on the playing surface. Unless there's clear malice or intent to harm, it's just an unfortunate situation, nothing more.

I haven't watched as much lately, but at the start of the season I was watching every game I could. I still like the sport and plan on getting into it during the playoffs.
But either way, it's fairly common sense. Either he was maliciously trying to hurt the guy or he wasn't. It's pretty clear he wasn't.Comment

I'm still pissed. You can injure a Kings player or a San Jose player and get away with it because no one gives a shit there... but if you come to Montreal and injure one of OUR players there should be SEVERE repercussions. We basically own this shit. Fuck you guys.Comment
