The GM's meeting is going on now and some info about concussions is of course coming out since a lot of star players are getting them this year.
According to what TSN is saying, concussions are down in terms of games missed. 17% of games missed are due to concussions vs 44% from last season.
Some other information from the article is
"According to the league, 26 percent of concussions this season have been caused by 'accidental' collisions, while 44 percent occurred from what the NHL considers a 'legal' hit. Eight percent of concussions are caused due to fighting while 17 percent fall under the heading of an 'illegal' hit."
They want to revise how players are handled during games if they are suspected of having a concussion which is just smart. And also more talk about the repeat offenders crap, which honestly, I wont listen to till Matt Cooke kills a guy and they give him a 20 game suspension for it.
